March 21-22--"Developing a Comprehensive System of Assessment Training" for Garden State Employment and Training (GSETA)

In a high-functioning One-Stop services system, ongoing comprehensive assessment processes form the backbone of service delivery. In this interactive, hands-on session, we will explore the flow of customers through the One-Stop Career Centers and the key points of assessment throughout the process. We will discuss how to use self-directed and group assessment tools and processes for customers who need minimal assistance in service planning and job search. We will also examine the use of group and individual tools and processes for customers who need more extensive support. Ongoing assessment to evaluate customer progress and to support customer retention and advancement will also be addressed.

For information on how to register for the GSETA Public Workshops, go to the Training Registration section of the GSETA Website.

To survive and thrive in the global economy, businesses have adopted a number of “flat world” practices, such as out-sourcing, in-sourcing, supply-chain techniques, and “technology on steroids.” In this interactive session, you will learn how to apply these principles to your Board and One-Stop Centers. We will teach practical tools and techniques to make you more responsive to business, allowing you to achieve success in a flat world economy.
